Pages Not Yet Created: Hey, and welcome to Snidget's Recs! Here you can find recommended Harry Potter fanfiction and art. The fanfiction is sorted by ship (relationship) and rating (G-NC17) in the story. You can find more information about how I sort each story in the category's page. I don't rec individual works of art. Instead, I just list the artist and their gallery to make it easier. Want me to check out some of your stuff? Email me at D_For_Deadly@msn.com with the subject "Rec Me!". If I like it, I'll email you and put up a link here in at least a week. If I don't, then you just aren't what I'm looking for. Sometimes I will email you to give advice, but that's only in special cases. Please wait at least a month before asking again and make sure you have some new material. Suggesting someone else goes by the same guidelines. I take affiliates! Email me to trade links! But if I find that my link is removed from your site without warning, I'll do the same to your own.
Updates *~*~*~*~* Sunday, May 11th, 2008: Stopped by the site for a quick update. Decided to add more "genfic", this time a series by GreenGecko on FF.Net that I've followed for quite some time now. Resonance, Revolution, and her WiP Resolution have been added to the genfic, PG-13 rated, and Chaptered categories (together of course). If you haven't read this series then... enjoy! Hello all! Sorry for not updating in like... a year o.O; I plan on finishing site construction soon and updating with a crapload of fanfics that I've been reading lately. As for updates, well, I finally added a GenFic (fics with no ship) category to the Ship page. I also added two stories. A Year Like None Other and its sequel, A Summer Like None Other by Aspen In The Sunlight to the Chaptered, PG Rating, and Genfic categories. I have followed these stories for years and am pleased to finally add them to the site :)
Saturday, March 17th, 2007: Added some new categories a few weeks ago, along with some fics in them, but neglected to add an update to the site. Made a sub-category for incest fics. Today I'm adding even more fics, and maybe a new category or two. Please remember that this site is a WiP and is only being done for my own amusement and hope that these authors will get more recognition. I do what I feel like doing, add what I feel like adding, update when I feel like updating. It sounds irresponsible, but it's the way I am and it works for me. More details on what I'm doing with the site later.
Monday, Febuary 26th 2007: I thought that I've been long overdue to add some more recs to this site, so I went through the net and searched for a few of my old (and more recent) favorites that I neglected to add before. Since I read mostly H/D, there are quite a few new additions there, crossposted to their respective other categories of rating and length. I'll probably be adding a few more ships today, and fanfics to go with them, so stay tuned! Oh, I have an idea in mind about adding WiP and Complete to the FF length page. Ideas? Email me! Ciao! Sunday, Febuary 25th 2007: I've been working on the Fanfics by Length page. The title is a little misleading, I suppose, but I couldn't think up a better one and wanted to move on. Anyway, you can find stories sorted there by whether they are Drabbles, One-shots, Poetry, or Chaptered. The sorting is not yet completed. Please be patient. Sunday, Febuary 4th 2007: A few days ago I put up the Artist Rec page. Only a few artists there so far, but be sure to check them out! Today I've added another story to the Snarry page (Harry/Severus) and cross-posted it to the NC17 page. Monday, January 29th, 2007: Added the Link To Snidget's Recs page, and have put a few basic banners on it featuring Harry, Hermione, Ron, and Luna. Also have added three new ships to the FFs Sorted By Ship page. The ships are Ginny Weasley/Pansy Parkinson, Hermione Granger/Pansy Parkinson, and Harry Potter/Ronald Weasley. The fics for these ships have also been sorted by rating on the FFs Sorted by Rating page already. There is a new rec in Harry/Draco (rated R) and Hermione/Ginny (rated PG13). I've been working on this site for hours. I never thought I would actually be finishing this project that I started on so long ago... but suddenly it looks like it is within reach. Of course, this site will never truly be finished. Not while there are people creating things for this fandom. I'm just glad I'm getting the site to where I've always wanted it to be. There's a new layout, as you all have probably noticed. I have not made it and it's only temporary until I have my very own (this site won't feel completely mine until I do). Still, it's rather nice, isn't it? Sure looks better than the old one. Sunday, January 21st, 2007: I have barely been updating this site the past few months. I'm pretty sure it's because of this horrid layout. It puts me off. I'll have to get a new one until I can finally design my own. Anywho, I've put up 9 new recs on the Snarry page. That update was long overdue. It gives the Snarry page a grand total of ten recs, mostly one shots. More to come, too! I'll probably be making more changes around the site after I get some sleep. Ciao! Sunday, July 17th, 2005: Hey all! Sorry I haven't been around much lately ;) But I have made a few updates and I'll probably be working on this site more. Okay, Snarry category up (but no recs yet added), a new banner has been made, I updated the About Snidget and the About Site pages, as well as took away the "Genre" category. It's hard to put certain fics in only one category, so I couldn't cope well with it. I'm thinking of adding a "Poetry" category though. There are more Harry/Draco fics and poems added, so ya know and I changed my email to D_For_Deadly@msn.com I'll be working on the site for a few more hours at the least, so more to come soon! Sunday, January 23rd, 2005: Added more stories to the Harry Potter/Draco Malfoy Ship Rec section. Get it? Ship Rec? Haha... I'm not funny... Er... Well, added more for that ship and I'm working on another category which should be up soon. It might be Snarry (Severus/Harry), but I'm not quite sure yet.
